Made 2B More was formed by Rhonda Mincey, President and CEO, after realizing the urgent need for young girls to have a safe and nurturing place to assemble in order to address the challenging and complex issues that inevitably confronts them. She knew that with proper guidance, girls could have good self-esteem, transform into young ladies and become leaders and positive role models.

With a few girls, Made 2B More's first session was held in donated space at the Boys & Girls Club in Conyers, GA, in April 2003. Girls were taught about Leadership, Self-Esteem, and much more. Partnering with Camp Westminster in Conyers, GA., Made 2B More had it's first weekend retreat where they experienced bon fires, wilderness walks, and did community service.

In 2006, the girls of Made 2B More were asked to perform at the 22nd Annual Prevent Child Abuse Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. The girls demonstrated their skills and talent through poetry, dance, Q& A sessions by serving as MC to an audience of over 700 attendees.

The organization has been featured in several forms of media including TBS' Storyline, On Common Ground News, CrossRoads News, and the Larry Young Morning Show.

Made 2B More was a project under the National Heritage Foundation and the Congressional District Program from 2003 until 2007. Made 2B More became incorporated in Georgia in 2007 and received it's IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt status by the IRS in 2008.
